FAQs

How much do customs cost?

Prices vary depending on the complexity of the design and the shoe model. There's no set rate because every pair is one-of-a-kind. Once we’ve discussed your concept, I’ll provide a quote. (Heads up: base shoe cost is separate!)

Can I wear the shoes?

Yes — they're fully wearable! I use high-quality paints and sealants made specifically for sneakers, so they’re built to be worn. Just treat them with care and avoid mud wrestling in them, yeah?

Can you customise any type of shoe?

Most leather and synthetic leather shoes work best. I can paint on other materials, but it depends on the texture and flexibility — suede and mesh can be tricky. Message me if you're unsure and we’ll figure it out.

Can I see a design mockup before you start?

Absolutely! Once we’ve discussed your concept, I’ll send a rough digital mockup for approval before any painting begins. That way, we’re on the same page from the jump.

How long does it take?

Turnaround is usually around 4 weeks. Some simpler designs may be quicker, more detailed ones may take a bit longer — I’ll give you an estimated timeframe when we chat about your request.

do you accept returns or offer refunds?

Because each pair is custom-made, I don’t accept returns or offer refunds. However, if there’s ever an issue with your order, please get in touch — I want you to love your customs.

How do I request a custom pair?

Head over to the Custom Request Form and fill it out with as much detail as possible — your design idea, shoe size, base shoe preference, and budget. I’ll be in touch soon after to get things rolling.

do I need to provide the shoe?

Totally up to you! You can send me a new or near-new pair, or I can purchase the shoes for you (you’ll just need to cover the retail/resell cost).

how do I care for my customs?

Wipe them gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, heavy scrubbing, throwing them in the washing machine, or setting them on fire. Treat them like art — because they are.

what kind of paint do you use? will it crack or peel?

I use high-quality, flexible acrylic leather paints and sealers designed for sneakers. When properly cared for, the paint won't crack or peel. They’re built to be worn and shown off but can of course be used as statement display pieces!
